What stays on your Mac, and what goes where.

On your Mac

  • Your own provider keys (macOS secure storage) and offline speech processing.
  • Calendar and mail data (encrypted cache), alarms, reminders, action log and settings.
  • Hand tracking and wake-word detection.

Leaves your Mac, only when the feature is on

Privacy mode

⌘⌥⇧P (works from any app), the top-bar button, or the menu-bar item. It ends any conversation, releases the mic, stops the camera and refuses every screen capture. It stays on across restarts until you turn it off.

Offline

With no network Jarvis uses local speech recognition, answers local commands, tells the time, and uses your own Ollama model if it is running.

Voice recognition consent

If you use speaker recognition, only a consent record is stored on the server (decision, text version, app version). Voice prints and recordings never leave the device.

Your rights

Delete memories in the Memory screen. Erase your synced history from Settings, Phone (or DELETE /api/history). Account and organization data are managed at auth.thundera.eu/settings.
